Contributing to 1.2.0?

Hi all,
I see that many of 1.1.1's "minor" symmetry issues are being carried over to 1.2.0 alpha 1, probably because no one found the time to fix them: "Symmmetry" in the interface, as well as non-symmetric (and otherwise bad) data in the default weights and targets. I hope no one will mind if I contribute my fixes on github.
