numpy error code

Postby PaulSgrillo » Wed Aug 29, 2012 12:44 pm

don't remember seeing this before during start-up. I gather numpy is used for math functions. What to do to correct. Or maybe not a big issue?

'import site' failed; use -v for traceback
Trying to load numpy
numpy does not exist in pythonmodules
Failed to load numpy. Warping will not work

Numpy is used for the new way to create targets, by warping the target for a reference character. Blender tools that use this are described in http://www.makehuman.org/node/479, but the algorithm is now being implemented in MH itself. If you don't have numpy installed, things should still work the old way.

How to enable numpy for MH, at least on windows, see http://www.makehuman.org/node/477
