Language support chatbot

Hello, how do i start coding a chatbot that is able to identify lanaguges (most preferably French for now) and explain the sentence/word input in the user's prefered language. I have tried ChatterBot but i feel like im constantly debugging the library and its incompatibility with python 3.11. I also tried using OpenAI API key but it also is giving multiple errors. I have a simple chatbot that stores keywords in a json file and then outputs a response based on most of keywords input.
