unable to find "import mh" file

Postby madiii » Mon May 09, 2011 5:49 am

Hi,

I am trying to run the python script for makehuman which is already present in the makehuman when I downloaded.
I am using makehuman 1.0 alpha 6 and the file which I am trying to run is "human.py".
When I am running this file I got an error that " import error : No module named mh"

Please help me in resolving the problem.

And one more question "If I am able to run the script successfully then where Should I see the output of this script :?: "

Thanks,
Madhu.

All scripts are used by main.py and makehuman.exe, you can't run them separately.

Hi!

Thanks for your reply!

But still there is some problem in executing main.py.
When I am running the main.py then it is still giving the same error as "error in importing mh".
PLEASE HELP ME.....

You need to compile the c module mh.pyd with your c compiler.

You need scons (http://www.scons.org/) and a c compiler. Then you just run scons in the makehuman folder where you did a checkout of the source code (http://code.google.com/p/makehuman/source/checkout).

I have a problem in opening this link "http//makehuman.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ makehuman-read-only".
When I opened it is showing as "PAGE NOT Found".

You need an svn client, which is written in the instructions on the page.
