new to makehuman \ porting to c#

Postby gnoblin » Tue Aug 31, 2010 11:12 am

Hello!

I am new to this forum, so please don't beat me hard for my stupid questions :).

I am interested in using makehuman in a game engine, so there are basically 3 questions:

1) is it possible to port the sources to C#?

2) is makehuman entirely written in python?

3) is it 100% opensource?

thanks :-)

1) Sure, it's portable to any language.

2) No, the main application which provides the OpenGL engine and native window support (SDL) is written in C.

3) The code (which includes the base and targets) is licensed under the GPL (GNU General Public License 3.0), see http://sites.google.com/site/makehumandocs/licensing.
