Make props

How does one go about making objects that a model is holding? like a gun for instance? is this possible, or is it something that you just have floating in front of the character and then make a pose where it then looks as if they are holding the gun..

Why not place it in the hand to begin with? Then make a "*" three point vertex group in the palm in order to have it scale linearly. See http://www.makehumancommunity.org/wiki/ ... ng_a_sword

Yupp. As Joel said. You have to use these special vertex groups starting with "*" on your assets and exactly 3 vertices spanning a triangle on the human or helper in MakeClothes as a reference. Examples are all my assets in the weapon/tool/carried part, but also all clothes or part of the clothes which should resize keeping the shape. (E.g. the train-driver cap, all my glasses, the bicycle helmet or the small pyramids of the bandeau bikini or the rings of the teddy).

You can also create a character holding a blank white sign in front where you can add a text you like (s.th. like "censored" ), you only should add an additional pose if you put it into the assets (e.g. MIndfront added a guitar pose for my guitar).

You really should have started a new topic as this about our web site not making props for MH ;) I am not sure if there is a plug-in for PHPBB that is the platform we use for these forums that will show time on the site it maybe part of an analytics plug-in which would most likely be for the site admins not for it's users.

Enjoy the Choice :)
