Mesh doesn't hide under clothes

Postby Ashayus » Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:43 am

I created clothes using helpers vertex group, I used mirror and subdivide modifiers, I imported back to make human and check it that mesh does't hide under clothes and have some weight problems

Perhaps the obvious, but did you remember to create a group to hide the vertices under the clothes?

For the human mesh create a vertex group named Delete
Assign the vertices you want hidden to this group
MakeClothes will automatically use this group

Make sure you have enough margin around the edges so there is overlap, or a gap will show

Well that solved my mesh hiding problem, but I still want to know why I have weight problems (clothes doesn't move nicely you can see in picture)

Did you pin the clothes to helpers or the human? Hopefully, the helpers? No picture made it through.
