"Your model is not optimized for windows mixed reality"

Postby Mastakaepp » Tue Nov 27, 2018 1:48 pm

Hi,

I just discovered MakeHuman, already created some models and I would like to pour them into my Window Mixed Reality environment. But every time I try to open those with 3D Viewer, I've got this message "Your model is not optimized for windows mixed reality".
.obj files are supported by 3D Viewer but i can open it only on 2D screen without textures (even if I try to load the registered model textures).

Do you know how to "optimize" a model for Window Mixed Reality ? Is it possible to load MakeHuman textures in 3D viewer ?

Most of us use blender a full 3d modelling app not a viewer as the makehuman model is just a starting point for a character that needs further work in that app.

Enjoy the Choice :)

I have no idea what an "optimized" model is. Maybe it is too large for the 3d viewer? You could try selecting a lower-res proxy in modeling -> topologies and export that to see what happens.
