weird render on screen

Hi,

I am running makehuman on ubuntu but I get a strange appearance as soon as I try to use a skin. someone has an idea of what is going wrong ?

That's a known issue due to many bugs and incompatibilities in the OpenGL code. You can try to use the --noshader option, or you can give the development code from github a try, if you don't need fbx export. Though, it is possible the development code will completely fail to run (on my Linux it is fairly stable and I'm using it for more than a year with success).
In the short term we will have to rewrite the OpenGL part of MakeHuman. If anyone knows coding OpenGl and can support Joel to rewrite the code ...

Thanks Aranuvir, in fact I found out...I dist-upgraded my ubuntu from 17 to 18, and in the process it did scratch my OpenGL rendering (nvidia driver).
So it was absolutly not due to makehuman. Thanks a lot for your help.
