Adjusting the clothes/hair area

As it stands now, clothes and hair end up in a big heap. Now that we're starting to get more hair, that starts to feel less intuitive.

Further, as there are more things sharing the basic mhclo format (eyes, teeth, eyelashes...). It makes sense to allow for these too.

In the same time, I don't want to make a radical change that'd require people to re-upload everything. So I'm adjusting things in small steps instead.

To this end, I've extended the number of possible categories for clothes, to include things which are body extensions or body parts rather than pieces of clothing.

On top of this, I've made a clone of the clothes view and given it another name.

The intention is that the clothes view will have a default filter which only shows clothes. The new view will have a default filter which shows hair, eyes, fingernails etc.

Technically, things still end up in a big heap, but it might be somewhat more comprehensible for new users: It's not immediately obvious that you should go to "clothes" if you want to download fingernails.

The cloned view is here:

http://www.makehumancommunity.org/bodyparts.html

Categories that will show up in the "clothes" view (largely same as before) :

Unsorted/other
Pants
Shirt/T-shirt/Sweater
Skirt
Hat/Helmet
Gown/Robe
Underwear
Shoes/Boots/Socks
Gloves
Uniform/Armor
Jewelry
Accessory
Weapon/Tool/Carried

Categories that will show up in the body extensions view (includes hair moved from clothes) :

Hair (scalp hair)
Nails
Teeth
Eyes
Beard, eyelashes and eyebrows
Genitalia
Other bodyparts

Any suggestion for other categories (for either view)?

Until I'm done, the clothes view will still include hair.

Possibly it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to group beard with eyelashes and eyebrows.

Perhaps "facial hair" for beards and mustaches?

People might want to upload various sorts of body hair, too.

Will you also allow multi-texture assets?

I've adjusted the categories into:

Nails
Teeth
Eyes
Facial hair (beard, moustache...)
Eyebrows
Eyelashes
Other body hair
Genitalia
Other bodyparts

And yes, I'm aware of the problem with multiple materials. It's on my todo list.

I've now finalized the view separation of clothes and body extensions. I have also changed the filter so that hair no longer appears among clothes, you'll have to go to the body extensions view to find those.

Wolgade: I took the liberty of recategorizing your finger nails in order to test the filters a bit. Just in case you got a subscription message about changes or something.

Thank you for adjusting in the asset repo.
In my opinion it should be better if similar category adjusting would be apply to the MakeHuman software as well.
For example, now when I download a fingernail and a toenail asset, I have to put these assets into the "data/cloth" folder if I want to use the fingernail and the toenail asset in same time because if I put into the "data/nails" subfolders I can use just one of them.
My "data/cloth" folder are full with non-cloth assets (rings, nails, weapons, beards, mustaches etc.). It is a big chaos. :-)
In one word, we should expand asset's subcategories.
What is your opinion?
