MakeTherapist now available

If you're interested in psychology, then maybe our new tool "MakeTherapist" might be a cool thing to test. You can find a blog post about it here: http://www.makehumancommunity.org/bloge ... apist.html

Looking at the image in your blog post, I think you meant the "scripting tab" under utilities not the "Shell tab" in the instructions of the last paragraph of your blog post. :D The script is then executed on the Execute tab as labeled in your image.

Am I right?

Hi
Is makeTherapist still around? The last post seems over a year ago. I'm interested in Avatar Counselling but need a bit more info to even attempt to get it working. For example

"Responses are formulated using an AI backend. This is a proprietary system developed at MIUN, but can be downloaded for free upon request. Alternatively, for testing, it is possible to instead use Cleverbot via ajax calls. " Who do I ask for the download? There is nothing on the MIUN website about maketherapist or AI for that matter so a contact name is needed to get the download. Cleverbot is now a subscription only service. Please can you provide some further info to help me get it set up?

This was indeed an april fool's joke, akin to the MakeCow joke or the announcement that MakeHuman had been acquired by Rovio and renamed Angry Humans.

But I do think that the idea is valid in principle.

Not so sure myself. Didnt think AI development was anywhere near there yet so expected it to be pretty bad. Good joke though.

"Announcing MakeTherapist" is still one of the first things you see when you go to http://www.makehumancommunity.org/ being the last blog post anyone on the MakeHuman team did or something. April fools jokes are fine, but maybe more could be done so that this joke from 2017 isn't one of the first things people see when visiting the site?

I do not disagree. The entire setup is in sore need of tough love.

We've started with a new site, located at http://static.makehumancommunity.org/ until it can replace the old one. But the migration is progressing rather slowly.
