ARKit52 Expressions (On Default Rig)

Description:

I had uploaded some other ARKit expressions, however found that the process of adding them to a character was too cumbersome. I decided to model the ARKit expressions as individual key frames on the default Makehuman rig. This is designed to work in conjunction with this extension (originally by RoyalSkies) here - https://github.com/elijah-atkins/ARKitBlendshapeHelper?tab=readme-ov-file to automatically generate the shape keys from the keyframes on the rig. Here's how to use this - Make sure you load your character from makehuman with the Default Rig into this file here. It's very important that it's the default rig. (I Use MPFB v2 to load it straight from makehuman) Once it's loaded, then you can take apply the ARKit_ShapeKeys animation to the default rig that attached to your character. This can be done by clicking the rig attached to your character, going to dope sheet > action editor > select "ARKit_ShapeKeys". It should be 52 frames long. From there, the extension I added a link to above should be able to do the rest. With this method, you ought to be able to add the shapekeys to any character made in makehuman - and fast. As usual, you may need to do some tuning after you apply animations. From there you can find your favorite CSV ARKit animation importer and work from there.
