This textures also works on the female version as sharing same UV-layout. For practical reasons I decided to make a separate alpha texture instead of using the png alpha channel, uploaded in the BUMP-slot. This also makes it possible to save as jpeg. The preview image is rendered in Blender Cycles using 2x subsurf, displace modifier and a material using the separate alpha texture. Then some manual adjustments to better fit the character and pose.
