As a background to why it's occasionally a bit slow to download binaries: In the first few days after the release, the win32 package has been downloaded 4500 times. Add the OSX package and we're a bit past 5000. Since the package is over 300 mb, this causes quite a load on the hoster.

The hoster in this case is TuxFamily (see https://tuxfamily.org/), which hosts open source projects in need of excessive bandwidth. Trying to do this on a commercial host would have been prohibitively expensive, especially for an open source project without any budget whatsoever.

Note that the number of visits in the image is for the binaries only. The makehuman.org and makehumancommunity.org sites count their page hits per second, not per day.
